The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer has organised a golf day at Boringdon Park Golf Club on Friday 18th November.
The day will see teams of three playing alongside a Plymouth Argyle Legend over 27 holes. Legends who have signed up to play include; John Uzzell who made 354 appearances for Argyle, John Hore 441 appearances, Nicky Marker 237 appearances, Mike Green 122 appearances, Duncan Neale 166 appearances, Steve Davey 249 appearances, Aiden Maher 70 appearances and guesting for the Legends, BBC Radio Devon’s Gordon Sparks.
The cost to each team of three is £180. For that you will get; an English breakfast and coffee on arrival, 9 holes in the morning, chips and sandwiches for lunch, 18 holes in the afternoon followed by a three course meal at the end of the day.
Boringdon Park Golf Club is itself fast becoming known as one of the premier golf clubs in Devon and offers a challenging and exciting golf experience.

The Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer supports men with prostate cancer and their families across Devon and Cornwall and funds the very latest in treatments and technology that wouldn't otherwise be available on the NHS.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. 37,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. 250,000 men are currently living with the disease.
